First impressions of Tortuguero

Hey there! On these photos you can see the way we did by coach and then by boat until we get to our hotel in Tortuguero. First of all, I have to say we passed by some little villages and one of the things that popped out the most for me was the fact that even though they were really poor, a lot of houses were carefully painted with beautiful colors. Then we catched the boat and it was an hour and a half ride until we get to the hotel. We passed by quickly some wild animals but then we had a proper trip to see them in the river, which I will talk about later in other post. The hotel was called Pachira Lodge and it was in the middle of the jungle. I woke up every morning with the sound of a monkey family screaming really loud. Amazing. The food was also really tasty and they had the best fresh natural juice made of all the fruits you can imagine.
