La Fortuna

La Fortuna Waterfall was such a surprise. When I saw the photos in Google, I couldn’t imagine it would be that big. It was impossible to swim there because of the waterfall strength. However, there were some places around it where you could take a swim and the water was really turquoise. I mean, at that time I found the water turquoise because I haven’t been before to the Rio Celeste (you will see it later). We paid around 15 dolars per person and we had to walk around 15 minutes until we get to the waterfall, around 500 stairs. But the worst part was going up. Exactly when we weren’t starting our way back to the car, it started to rain like crazy. Tropical rain as I’ve never seen before. The real meaning of pouring rain. Still amazing. I had a plastic coat and I used it to cover my camera and phone but when I got to the car I was wet like I had take a shower fully dressed. Anyway, it was worth it!
